Happy Halloween

Since reality shows are all the rage, I'm going trick or treating--as myself! Please pass the tuna.

Check out the Friday Ark for more merry critters.

Ready for winter

Aloysius has been enforcing his contract: on Tuesdays, he simply is a cat. Last night we had a hard frost, and it's still quite cold outside. Aloysius' thick, silky coat protects him from the cold, but for good measure, he's sitting on the heating pad.

We haven't posted much this month. The news and our mood have been too sad. We're hopeful, though, that next week will bring better news, at least as far as the national election goes. If one of our cat friends, Cheysuli or Cato, doesn't win--and it seems like neither of them will--we're putting our money on Barack Obama.

Where have the humans been?

My humans were gone again for most of the last week. I had little to do but sit and lick my fur.
I found out where the humans went. They went to Indiana for a funeral. I am sorry that they have lost someone they loved. I am going to be especially nice to them now, and I will start by making sure that their bed is nice and warm and furry.

Love and purrs to all of you.

See the Friday Ark and the Carnival of the Cats (on Sunday) hosted by Kashim & Othello.
