Humans learning to relax? What next?

Humans are holding an event to learn how to relax! This actual event takes place at the historic James J. Hill House in St. Paul, Minnesota tomorrow, August 15, which is National Relaxation Day. Clueless humans! They are hiring a trainer to teach them how to relax, when all they would have to do is watch a cat for a few hours. Better yet, they could curl up with a cat in a nice, cushy armchair, a bed, or a hammock.

Need an illustration? Check me out, cuddled up against my human, taking a well-deserved nap.

More relaxing felines can be found at Modulator's Friday Ark and at this Sunday's Carnival of the Cats, hosted by our friends at Artsy Catsy. Since Rocky's mom has been very sick, I'm dedicating this post to all the cats and humans at Artsy Catsy. Have a relaxing day!

Matilda's birthday party: August 12 at The Algonquin

Matilda, the gorgeous cat who reigns over New York's Algonquin Hotel, invited me to her birthday party. It's a benefit for the North Shore Animal League. Unfortunately, I can't fly to New York. But maybe some of you cats who live there can encourage your humans to check this out. It is bound to be a fabulous event. Go to the hotel's website for more about the famous cats of the Algonquin. The hotel even has a special package for Friends of Matilda.

Matilda & I will see you at the Friday Ark.

P.S. Don't you think that Matilda looks a lot like me?
