Perfection
You ask what perfection would be? Here is my answer. It's finally Spring here in Minnesota. These are MY crabapple trees, in my back yard. Aren't they lovely?

But, also, there is nothing quite as perfect as snoozing next to my human.

This Memorial Day weekend begins with the Friday Ark at Modulator. On Sunday, don't forget the Carnival of the Cats at M-Cats Club.

The well-trained human
After I complained loudly about the pile of snow and ice between the door and my back yard, my male human went out and shoveled a path. It's still sort of cold and slushy, but at least my feet don't sink in up to my belly. I think I've got him trained!
By the way, for those of you who are wondering how there can still be snow here: first, it's Minnesota; second, my back door faces North, and so the steps and patio nearest the house are always in the shade.
Check out the latest Friday Ark at Modulator and the Carnival of the Cats today at CatSynth.

Into the light
This spring, if you can call it Spring, has been trying indeed for this small Earth cat. Today was the first day that I was allowed out of the house and into my back yard.

And this is what I had to put up with!

But when I finally reached the sunny patio, it was worth it.

Am I not the biggest, bravest cat in my neighborhood?

Every garden looks better with a cat in it
What fun! My humans had three guys come and make my garden all beautiful, with new sod for me to prowl around on. They dug up a lot of weeds that were in the flower bed, too. Now you can see the tulips much better. I think they should plant a lot more tulips; they provide such a nice background for my pear-shaped pose. I think they should plant some catnip, too.
