There's nothing wrong with the TV set
Matt Groening decided to make The Simpsons yellow because it was different, bright and "it looks like there's something wrong with your television set."
Puddy, of A Byootaful Life, is hosting Weekend Catblogging and has set a yellow theme, in honor of the Simpsons movie opening. I am going to watch the movie when it comes out in DVD--until then, I'll be curling up in my golden throne.
